This tour is a homage to the greatest artist of all times: Michelangelo Buonarroti. It has been designed to depict a comprehensive picture of the artist’s life, visiting the places he grew up in as a child and those he frequented as a young man.
The tour starts in the atmospheric setting of the Bargello museum where we will pause for a moment to look at his earliest works before continuing with the visit to the imposing Church of Santa Croce, where Michelangelo and other distinguished Italians are buried. The tour culminates with the Academy gallery where we marvel at the mastery of Michelangelo’s David and at his unfinished Prisoners. This tour can also include the visit to the Medici Chapels. This museum is renowned in particular thanks to the New Sacresty constructed and designed by Michelangelo.
