Leonardo welcomes you to Vinci – A tailor-made family tour

Vinci, a small village in the countryside, just a half-an-hour drive from Florence, is famous because it is where the legendary Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452. He was the illegitimate child of Sir Piero da Vinci and a domestic servant. Sir Piero was the owner of the house at the time. Our visit will start inside the house where the little genius was born and where he spent his childhood. The home and the splendid landscapes that surround it, gentle hills and the wide fields of vineyards and olive trees, will help you understand the deep connection that existed between Leonardo and nature, considered to be his source of inspiration,  that without any doubt contributed to  develop his intelligence and creativity.

Afterwards, we will visit the Leonardo Museum, housed in the Castle of the Guidi Counts, the powerful Lords of this area of Tuscany, where we will admire all the machines built in the 20th century according to original Leonardo Da Vinci drawings. Your guide will provide your kids a booklet that will help them discover and enjoy the museum the best way possible.
