My food tour starts with a stop by one of the most beautiful cafes in the city to learn how Italians do breakfast and drink coffee. Be ready to behave like a local! It continues with a visit to the food market where everyday Florentine and famous chef go for local produce. We will taste extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
We will after sample a variety of Tuscan cheeses and hams that make the region so famous accompanied by couple of glasses of Chianti Classico wine. We will after decide or to try lampredotto, the street “brave” food of Florence or to enter in a trattoria to taste pappa al pomodoro and/or ribollita. Our tour will finish with a local dessert, that I will decide depending on the season and the festivities we celebrate in certain time of the year.
