The Santa Maria Novella Church and the Santa Croce Church: the two most important Gothic Churches in Florence full of amazing works of art ranging from the Renaissance time to the late 18th century. We will admire Giotto’s Crucifix, Domenico del Ghirlandaio’s frescoes, Brunelleschi’s Crucifix, the Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei Tombs, and much, much more. The Tour will include a visit to the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy, one of the most ancient Italian apothecary shops. We will also visit the famous Leather School, one of the most exclusive leather workshops. Here Florentine artisans will show us the antique manual technique of leather decoration with gold leaf.
