Hello. I am Chiara Patu and I am a licensed tour guide and tour leader.
I was born and raised in Florence. I graduated from high school in linguistics and continued my studies at the Faculty of History at the University of Florence, graduating with highest honors. My love for my city and passion for foreign languages and history led me to the choice of becoming a tour guide, an activity I have been doing since 2009 in three languages: Italian, English and French. The historical slant of my tours helps to fully understand the city, to get closer to its unparalleled treasures and to the men and women who made it great.
Patience and flexibility are innate in me and they are skills I learned to instil in years of working with a range of diverse people’s needs and requests. They are invaluable allies that can make each guided tour experience emotional, memorable and customer-friendly. Every day I guide visitors from all over the world to discover the city enshrined wonders: world-famous museums or hidden museums but disarmingly beautiful, churches in the city center and just outside the ancient walls, cloisters, bridges, historic stores or fashionable boutiques, public and private gardens, streets, tabernacles and chiassi.
